1906 Mt. Tabor Craftsman
This couple wanted a kitchen that fit the Northwest Craftsman style of their home. A previous 1990’s remodel left the kitchen feeling disconnected from the historic detailing and warm Fir trim in the rest of the house. The existing kitchen also lacked closed storage and a workable layout. New Quarter Sawn White Oak cabinets provide ample storage while enhancing the historic look of the home. Since both clients are over 5’10”, it was important to them that they have a raised seating and work area in the kitchen along with a separate coffee bar. The new layout provides work zones for prep, cooking, and clean up while staying true to the character of the home.
